Property Tax Work-off

Seniors over 60 years old may be eligible for an abatement for up to $1500 off their property taxes per fiscal year. At the rate of $11.00 per hour for volunteering in a town department. The credit for hours worked in calendar year 2017 will be applied to FY 2018 actual tax bill (due February 1). Applications are available at the Council on Aging
