Director's Note

Speaking of beautiful annual traditions and memories. December has great dates and celebrations. My nephew’s birthday is on December 1st and my niece and God Child on December 18th a week before Christmas. Of course, Dec. 7th is a day that will live in Infamy, the Day Pearl Harbor was attacked. Also 10 years ago My Aunt Mary passed away on this date. An artist, you may see a few of her works in my office. She was one of the most influential people in my life and she loved everything to do with Christmas, decorating, shopping, wrapping, parties and delicious food including time with family and friends. For those who celebrate 8 days of Hannukah and Kwanza, I hope it will be a wonderful season full of light and joy! Don’t get too caught up in the hustle and bustle and miss the true reason for the season! Join us here in December for our mini Bazaar 12-12 thru 12-14 and our Holiday gatherings on the calendar, a Sing-a-long, Soup Social, gift wrapping, Coffee, news & donuts and a movie. Remember the Center and Van will be off Dec. 25-Jan. 1st.
